Andy, Cara and family have had connections with Carlisle for a long time. Andy was born and raised in Carlisle and came to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus there too.
In 2015 Andy sensed the Lord’s call on his life to go into ministry after being given a burden for the lost people of Carlisle and the lack of gospel witness in the city. For the last 10 years, Andy has been training for ministry through Cornhill Scotland and also Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.
Andy was ordained with the International Presbyterian Church in 2023 and served as an assistant minister in an IPC church in central Scotland.
Andy, Cara and the family moved to Carlisle in July and have been busy assembling a small team together to start the church.
